As we celebrate Black History Month, the Board of Directors of the Black Class Action Secretariat (BCAS) is proud to honour our President and Chief Executive Officer, Nicholas Marcus Thompson, for his historic leadership in dismantling systemic discrimination in Canada and beyond.


While Black history is being made through this ongoing fight for justice, today, we recognize Nicholas for his unwavering commitment to workplace fairness, advocacy, and systemic change. His tireless efforts have not only advanced the rights of Black workers but have strengthened protections for all workers, inspiring a new era of accountability and reform.


Nicholas ’s leadership has been nothing short of groundbreaking. His tireless advocacy and determination have paved the way for real, systemic change and justice across all workplaces.
